—Ariel is a lawyer before the Court of Appeal and has over 15 years experience of working in Tax. She currently serves  as a Senior Manager in KPMG’s tax practice. Ariel has a wide experience in providing tax advice and other services with regard to Greek and international tax matters and in particular in the areas of corporate tax, international corporate tax, shipping taxation, taxation of financial services and financial products. Ariel is also specialized in commercial transactions, tax planning techniques, restructuring of companies and groups of companies in Greece and abroad, transfer of shares/business/segments, permanent establishment implications, business establishments.  She has participated in advisory projects on large investments in Greece.

-Involved in numerous domestic and international advisory projects involving multinational corporations and local enterprises in the areas of corporate income tax issues.

-Involved in numerous projects to structure domestic and international investments, acquisitions, technical projects, negotiations and transactions for multinationals and local entities, assisting, inter alia, on double tax treaty, cross border and domestic taxation issues.

-Dealing with tax advisory projects on financial services (for Greek and foreign banks).

-Dealing with the establishment/taxation/dissolution of branches/contract PEs of foreign entities in Greece.
