Sophia is a Certified Auditor with almost 20 years of experience in audit and assurance engagements. She worked for KPMG Greece in various audits and different sectors with great degree of diversification and complexity.
She has in-depth expertise in the area of IFRS and PCAOB audits. As auditor she was involved in capital market transactions, such as IPOs, issuance of bonds and securitizations as well as in the audit of acquisitions and/ or mergers of companies.
Sophia has long experience in the audit of investment and real estate development / management companies, companies operating in the hospitality and leisure sectors, major financial institutions and overall in listed entities in the Athens Exchange (Hotel & Real Estate). Her client list comprises corporations operating in Greece and abroad as well as SEC register entities (SOX).
She currently serves as a Director in the Audit practice in KPMG Greece and is a member of the audit quality supervision team and IFRS training expert.
