Paolo Morosetti

Family Business Advisor, Senior Lecturer, Βocconi

Paolo is a Senior Lecturer of the Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management Department at SDA Bocconi School of Management, a Teaching Fellow of Bocconi University, and a mentor and Fellow of Family Firm Institute. He currently lectures on Corporate Strategy and Strategic Management of Family Businesses. At SDA Bocconi School of Management, he run the Executive MBA program, has led the Executive Education Division at “SDA Bocconi Asia Center” in Mumbai, and has been the Director of the Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management Department.

Paolo is the founder of independent advisory boutique working with business-owning families and family businesses to help them thrive and transform across generations through bespoke processes and solutions. For more than 20 years, Paolo has consulted with clients in Europe, the Middle East (Jordan, Lebanon, and Dubai) and Asia (India and Singapore) in all industries and of all sizes. His consultancy focuses on generation transitions, family and business governance, strategy, and leadership development to help nextgen reach their full potential. The eldest family he works with has reached the 14th generation. The most prominent family he collaborates with counts more than 120 Family Members. The large family business he cooperates with generates more than 5 billion euros.

Paolo serves as chairman and non-executive director for several multi-national firms and is a speaker and moderator at conferences on topics related to family business strategies. He cooperates with the Family Business Network International (FBN-I) and the Italian Association of Family Businesses. He co-chaired the Program Committee of the FBN Global Summit in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Venice (Italy) and Udaipur (India).
He is co-author of various books and articles (Professionalizing Family Business).“Le Vie della crescita. Corporate Strategy e diversificazione” is the latest book published in 2018 by EGEA and translated into English in 2020 under the title “Corporate Strategy for a Sustainable Growth”.
