Πίσω από τον «καινοφανή» τίτλο του Information Experience Designer, ο Matteo Moretti φέρνει μια εντελώς νέα διάσταση στο data visualization και στην απεικόνιση δεδομένων ώστε αυτά να προσφέρουν πραγματικά χρήσιμα insights και να καθοδηγούν αντικειμενικά τη λήψη αποφάσεων.

Είναι βραβευμένος designer, λέκτορα στο Ανοιχτό Πανεπιστήμιο του Bolzano και στο University of San Marino. Έχει ιδρύσει τις design πλατφόρμες Unibz (visual journalism) και designformigration.com, η οποία συγκεντρώσει ευρωπαϊκά design projects σχετικά με την αναπαράσταση δεδομένων σχετικά με τη μετανάστευση. Είναι TEDx ομιλητής, μέλος της κριτικής επιτροπής του διαγωνισμού World Press Photo 2017-18 και ένας από τους 100 πρεσβευτές του ιταλικού design για το 2018, όπως ορίζει το ιταλικό Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών. Έχει βραβευθεί με Data Journalism Award 2015, European Design Award 2016 & 2017, ADI Design Index 2019. Το 2020 συνίδρυσε το Sheldon.studio, το πρώτο information-experience studio στην Ευρώπη.

Award-winning designer, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Design of the Free University of Bolzano and the University of San Marino. He co-founded the visual journalism research platform at the Unibz, and designformigration.com, the first platform that collects design projects related to the recent European migratory phenomena. Through the platform, he explored new socio and social design practices which informed his book “Socio- Social- Design. Design practices for new perspectives on migration” (Corraini, 2019). Speaker TEDx, Visualized.io, has been a jury member at the World Press Photo 2017-18 and one of the 100 ambassadors of Italian design in the world 2018, named by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His projects have been awarded with Data Journalism Award 2015, European Design Award 2016 & 2017, ADI Design Index 2019. In 2020 he co-founded Sheldon.studio, the first information-experience studio in Europe.
