Ioannis Kamitsos is a Director in the Financial Risk Management department of KPMG Greece. He has extensive professional experience in financial services, focusing on risk modeling across various types (credit risk, market risk, operational risk, liquidity risk), implementation of regulatory frameworks, and incorporation of ESG in risk management frameworks.

Prior to joining KPMG, Ioannis worked as a Manager in the Financial Services Risk Management department of a consulting firm in Greece and as a Quantitative Developer in Bloomberg LP in New York, USA.

Ioannis holds a Diploma degree in electrical and computer engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, USA.
