George Moraitis joined NBG in 2020. Since November 2024 leads the Corporate Transaction Banking unit, overseeing sales and product development across the Corporate Client portfolio, offering a broad range of sophisticated products & services including Payments, Cash and Liquidity Management, Trade Finance, and Supply Chain Finance solutions, all underpinned by cutting-edge Digital technology and channels.
Previously, he held senior roles at HSBC Greece as Country Head of Global Liquidity and Cash Management and at Eurobank in Corporate Transaction Banking. His professional background also includes positions at Tiresias SA and IBM Hellas. 
George Moraitis holds an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University) and an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
