Alternate Chair of the BoD at Consignment Deposits & Loans Fund
Christina Giovani is a certified corporate governance leader, currently appointed as an executive board member of the largest National Developing Institution in Greece, and a professional with 30 years of service in banking, financing and advisory. For the last four years, as the Alternate Chair of the Board of the Consignment Deposit and Loans Fund, has contributed decisively to its strategic restructuring & digital transformation, despite the immediate challenges faced just a month following her appointment. Furthermore, has paved the way in deepening the organization’s engagement with EU peers, aiming to attract know-how and promote an internal culture of learning and progress.
Prior to this, was a Managing Partner of KBR GmbH, an international advisory firm, and a Managing Director of DEPFA Bank. For both, has successfully build up their franchise in Greece, & developed business opportunities in the investment banking and public sector financing sectors. Also, served in positions with the MINISTRY OF FINANCE, the CITY OF ATHENS, ABN AMRO Bank, AMERICAN EXPRESS Bank, and INTERBANK in the fields of corporate banking, credit structuring, credit analysis & rating process. She holds an MBA from the New Hampshire College of USA and a BSc from the American College of Greece. Additionally, holds a Graduate level Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University and received her IDP-C Certification in Corporate Governance from INSEAD in 2021. Fueled by her desire to better understand human psychology and better support teams in uncertainty, completed numerous leadership and personal development courses and received a Certification from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens on the Theoretical and Practical background and Support frameworks of Anxiety & Panic Attacks (2023).
