As PPC Director of Sustainability since October 2021, Achilleas and his team promote the company’s evolving transition toward a sustainable business model, with a mission to enable influential structural change. He is responsible for embedding sustainability and circular economy principles in the Group’s strategy and operations in decarbonization and response to climate change, nature-positive operations, and socio-economic shared value creation. Achilleas and his team are also responsible for the improvement of ESG reporting for the PPC Group, and bridging the needs and interests of external and internal stakeholders with the Group’s deliverables.

Prior to joining the PPC Group, Achilleas worked in both private and public sector organizations for fifteen years, participating in efforts that helped shape Greece’s global image through media, fostering synergies between the Greek State and NGOs, and running a tourism sector startup based on circular model principles. Achilleas has participated in the Greek delegation that brought the Stern Exhibition on "The Economics of Climate Change” to Greece in 2007, and was a founding member of the Zita Association, which aimed to develop indicators for the evaluation of state power and administration in terms of quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
