Nils is Head of Strategy for AIG’s Science team, which builds new Artificial Intelligence products using machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. He has over 20 years’ experience working on strategy and digital innovation within e-commerce, tech, FMCG, banking, retail and telecom in both Silicon Valley and London. Most recently he was Head of Strategy for the digital product design agency Beyond in London, working with clients such as Google, Facebook, Instagram and Virgin. Before that he spent two decades in San Francisco where he started his career as a management consultant working on digital transformation and customer experience. He then helped found two tech startups during the first dot com boom, and later ran a social analytics company. He has a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from the University of San Francisco
